Bathroom remodeling in Topeka

Bathroom remodeling in Topeka, planned room by room

Outdated or cramped bathrooms rebuilt from a floor plan and a 3D rendering, by one of Kansas' Master Remodelers.

Chapter 01

What hides behind outdated tile

Is your bathroom feeling outdated or cramped? Usually the room is telling you two things at once. The surface is tired, and the layout was never generous to begin with: a vanity too close to the door, a tub that eats the floor, a shower that is a box in the corner. Fresh paint answers the first problem and leaves the second one standing.

The part nobody sees is behind the tile. A shower pan that has quietly failed, soft subfloor near the tub skirt, rot where water has been finding its way for years. Those are the surprises that wreck a budget when they are found halfway through, so our crew opens the room with that possibility in mind and tells you what they find while the wall is still open and the fix is still simple.

Floor plans and 3D renderings before anything is torn out

We start with an on-site meeting in your Topeka home, free of charge, to hear what the room needs to do. Then our in-house interior designer, Payton Summers, draws a floor plan in SoftPlan and builds a realistic 3D rendering. You see the shower, the vanity and the clearances as a room, and you can ask for the door to swing the other way while that is still a mouse click.

That drawing is what makes the build calm. The estimate follows the plan, the selections follow the estimate, and the PDQ crew builds from the same sheet you approved. PDQ is one of two NAHB Master Remodelers in Kansas, and this habit of drawing first is a large part of why. Mike Pressgrove, who owns the company, was named NAHB National Remodeler of the Year 2024.

Chapter 03

The Mosimann primary bath, in the homeowner's words

Catherine Mosimann wrote in her Google review that her experience with PDQ, specifically Jason, Joe and Bobby, produced a beautiful master bath remodel. She said Jason and Joe communicated easily and were always friendly and helpful, and that they could not have had better help deciding on design features than with Payton.

Payton listened to how the room should function, then worked through paint color, wallpaper, cabinet pulls and plumbing fixtures with them. She helped the Mosimanns settle the tile design and installation and walked them through how different applications would look in the finished room. Another client, Mike Geller, said PDQ returned his call right away and cleaned up after themselves. To start your own bathroom, call (785) 235-1511.
