Remodeling Topeka since 2003, drawn first and built by our own crews.

Kitchens, baths, additions, decks and stone, drawn in 3D by our in-house designer before a wall comes down. Led by Mike Pressgrove, NAHB's 2024 National Remodeler of the Year.

The record

Remodeler of the Year, and the bath that shows why.

In 2025, at the Best in American Living Awards during the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas, the National Association of Home Builders named our founder, Mike Pressgrove, its National Remodeler of the Year for 2024. PDQ is one of two NAHB Master Remodelers in Kansas.

“Do a good job, do what you say you're going to do, and surround yourself with good people.”

Drawn in SoftPlan

You see the room before we open a wall.

Our in-house interior designer, Payton Summers, draws your floor plan and a realistic 3D rendering in SoftPlan before construction begins. You change your mind on paper, where it costs an eraser, not on site.

Surround yourself with good people

The drawing comes down. The kitchen goes up.

Lead carpenters Marcus Blake, Jason Edinborough, Dan Kinkel and Robert Jackson, framer Alex Bowers, shop lead Scott Willis and Taylor Pressgrove's masonry crew are PDQ people, and they build what Payton drew.

Out back

Decks, screened porches and the stone around them.

Our in-house framing crew builds in Trex and natural wood, with screened-in porches, exterior stairs and the custom touches that make a deck a room. When the patio wants a fireplace or a seat wall, our masons are on the same job.

“They've completed everything from a deck and porch work to a full bathroom remodel and interior painting. Bobby, Dan, and the team are professional, prompt, clean, and truly listen to their clients.”
